For the 9th year WQRY106.com is the Moxie Festival’s official radio station. This year’s festivities are going on from Friday, July 13th thru Sunday, July 15th.  The theme this year is “Moxie Through the Decades.”

  • Bob Perry, Dick Richards, and Scott the Boogeyman Carpenter will be broadcasting live at the festival on Saturday from 11a-3p on Main Street in Lisbon Falls.  WGME’s meteorologist, Adam Epstein will join Bob, Dick and Scott for all the fun! The Moxie Festival Show is sponsored by Angelo’s Pizzeria Restaurant, Adept Screen Printing & Graphics, and Lisbon Gulf.

  • Family Fun Night is happening on Friday at the Lisbon High School on Rte 196, Main St., & School Streets in Lisbon Falls from 4-9p with a variety of fun activities followed by non-stop fireworks display beginning around 9:15.  For more info and a complete schedule, go to the festival’s website at moxiefestival.com.

  • The Moxie 5K Road Race begins at 7:30a on Saturday at the Gazebo Park across from the Lisbon High School on Rt 196 in Lisbon Falls.  On-line pre-registration is 25 dollars, 30 dollars on race day.  Kids Pre Race Fun Run for all ages will happen at 7am with a registration fee of 5 dollars.

  • You don’t want to miss one of the biggest parades in Maine on Saturday at 10am.  It begins at Capital Ave and ends in downtown Lisbon Falls.  There’s more fun following the parade with several vendors, lots of food, music & dancing, Moxie Chug-n-Challenge, the Fireman’s Muster, fun activities for the kids & much more.

  • The Moxie Car Show is Sunday behind the Lisbon High School on Rte 196 in Lisbon Falls from 8am-1pm.  Bob Perry and Scott Carpenter will be there, broadcasting live from 8a-noon on WQRY106.com playing Classic Hits from the 50s thru 90s.  Come by and say hi! The Car Show broadcast is brought to you by Val’s Drive-In.
